Capsicum annuum Chilli pepper

Capsicum annuum Chilli pepper

“Too Hot to Handle”

Capsicum annuum, commonly known as the chili pepper or chilli, is a highly popular and widely cultivated plant species within the Solanaceae family. These peppers are native to Central and South America but have become integral to cuisines worldwide, adding a distinctive spicy kick to dishes. The intensity of the heat in chili peppers is attributed to the presence of a compound called capsaicin, which stimulates the heat receptors in the mouth and gives these peppers their characteristic spiciness.

Contemporary and popular the spicey Chilli to heat up your day.  I loved the numerous colour changes between the different varieties and the subtle shades of pastel through the shadows as they dance across the page.
