New Zealand Coastal Shoreline - Rock Pool

Designed by the acclaimed scientific illustrator Sue Wickison, this colorful set of ten stamps beautifully showcases the rich marine biodiversity found along New Zealand's coastline. The stamps capture intricate, true-to-life illustrations of unique rock pool inhabitants, including native species like the large rock crab, clingfish, sea anemones, and various seaweeds.

It was initially launched as a traditional gummed booklet in February 1996. Because it was so popular, New Zealand Post re-released it later that year (August 1996) as a self-adhesive booklet.
