Tacca chantieri Flowers

Tacca chantrieri is an unusual plant in that it has black flowers. These exotic flowers mimic a bat in flight, deep purple, are up to 12 inches across, and have long 'whiskers' that can grow up to 28 inches.

A large painting of Tacca chantieri flowers is exhibited at the Sydney Botanica Art exhibition from 20th April to the 6th May 2018 at Lion Gate Lodge in the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, Australia.
